Outside of JEUGIA
Katata branch is in JEUGIA culture center that exists in AL PLAZA Katata in Otsu City. It is located in front of JR Katata station, so it takes 1 minute walk to go into AL PLAZA.
It is possible to arrive at JEUGIA on the third floor comfortably regardless of the weather and the climate. Also you can drive here, there is a big parking area.

Shoes are taken off in this side, and they are put in the shoe cabinet next to the locker room for women on the left.
You can see the locker room for man on the end of this hallway.
The activity room on the right is the stronghold of Katada branch.

The lockers are set up in the locker room and it is possible to use them during your training.
Moreover, there are equipment such as mirrors and wash basins, too.
JEUGIA was opened in November 2008, and all equipments are still kept clean and comfortable by the management of JEUGIA.

- Additionally, when you join us, bandage fee (\4,500~) is needed.
- Each one has to prepare the rope (for the rope skipping) which is used for a warm-up.
(It may not be the special one for boxing. )

Practice Scenery
≪Practice Room≫
In this room, we practice wearing shoes.There are mirrors three sides of the walls, so you can check your form any time.
And the air conditioner is established.
Shuichi Wada took some movements by his camera and gave trainees some advice to improve.
≪Warm-up≫
We use the ropes to warm up, the same length of a round, usually 3 minutes with boxing steps.
Basically 1 round for 3 minutes, and 1 minute interval, we train everything by this cycle.
≪Practice of Defense≫
When you image about training of boxing or kick-boxing, what do you imagine?
A lot of people imagine punching and kicking, but it's just offense.
If you want to participate in the game, the defense is as important as the offense.

They practice how to handle the punches that are struck by the party.
We should whisk the punches in front of our facees, but it's not so easy.
We need to concentrate
our attention to the punches that the party strike.
If you don't have enough attention, you might be punched.
